How to Create and Manage a Channel in Bitchat App (Step-by-Step Guide)

Step 1 – Open the Slash Commands Menu

To create a channel in the Bitchat App, first open the chat screen.

  • Tap on the flash icon (⚡) or slash ( / ) icon.
  • This will display all available commands such as:
    /block, /channel, /clear, /join, /msg, /slap, /unblock, /who and more.

Step 2 – Select the Channel Command

From the list of commands, click on /channel or the join command.

  • The app will ask for a channel name.
  • Type the desired name for your channel and send the message.

Step 3 – Instant Channel Creation

  • As soon as you send the channel name, you will be taken inside your newly created channel.
  • Now you can start sending messages in it.

Pro Tip: Any user who types the /join ChannelName command with your channel name will automatically join your channel.

  • If the channel doesn’t exist, the app will create it instantly.

Step 4 – Creating Unlimited Channels

Bitchat allows you to create unlimited channels and groups.

  • You can see all your created and joined channels from the home screen.
  • On the right side, there’s an icon showing the number of your active channels.
  • Click it to view your complete channel list and enter any channel instantly.

Step 5 – Locking and Securing Your Channel

Once inside a channel, open the slash command menu again.
Here you’ll see extra commands like:

  • /block – Block a user from the channel
  • /password – Set or change channel password
  • /sec – Save messages locally for security
  • /transfer – Transfer channel ownership to another user
  • /unblock – Unblock a user
  • /who – See who is online in the channel

Password Protection:
Use /password YourPassword to protect your channel so only people with the password can join.


Step 6 – Channel Management Features

  • Block users who disturb your channel.
  • Clear chats using /clear.
  • Send fun commands like /hug or /slap to interact.
  • Transfer ownership if you want someone else to manage the channel.
